Suggested Itinerary
Day 1: Monday
Enjoy easy parking at the long term carpark at Darwin International Airport. Kick back and relax on your morning Airnorth flight, indulging in complimentary refreshments in spacious seating and arrive 75 minutes later in Timor-Leste.
You’ll be greeted in Dili once you clear customers by your tour guide who will take you to the boat launch for your right to Atauro Island. The speedboat is a 1.5 hour journey where you might be lucky to see dolphins, whales (if in season) and various birds.
Once you arrive at Compass Eco Retreat, you will be taken to your deluxe villa. Spend the rest of the day relaxing in your hammock, snorkelling right off the shore, or walk down the beach and play with the local kids. All meals are provided while staying at the retreat.
Day 2: Tuesday
Today is yours to do whatever you want! Fancy a dive? Book in with Compass when you arrive (additional fees apply).
In the afternoon head out for a walk, or get one of the local tuk tuks to drive you to some of the social enterprises on the island.
Day 3: Wednesday
After breakfast, you have the day to explore, dive and relax!
Day 4: Friday
This morning after breakfast you will board the speedboat back to Dili, arriving around lunchtime.
Your tour guide will pick you up and take you on a ½ day Dili tour including Cristo Rei, Resistance Museum, Tais Markets and more. They will also plan a place for you to stop and have lunch.
After the tour you will be taken to your hotel and enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Day 5: Saturday
You’ll have an early morning flight so breakfast won’t be provided. Your driver will pick you up and drop you off at the airport, where you will relax on your Airnorth flight back to Darwin.
