  • Local tip!

    If you're not interested in a charter and want to head out fishing on your own, drop into a local tackle shop and have a chat to the locals about where you'll find the best fishing. You'll find the fish swarming in different places throughout the year!



  • Where to stay

    Reef and bluewater fishing - Stay in Darwin CBD if this if your focus. We recommend Darwin Waterfront, which is nice and close to a lot of the fishing charter departure locations. 


    Land fishing - If rivers and inland fishing is your jam, then stay somewhere south of Darwin. 


    A mix of both - If you're keen on both blue water and inland fishing, we recommend staying at Hudson Berrimah which is roughly inbetween Darwin CBD and some of the best inland fishing spots. You could also stay further down the track at Dundee Beach.
