Suggested Itinerary
Day 1: Tuesday
Welcome to Darwin! Take some time to settle in and get everything you need for your adventure. Head to the shops to stock up on drinks, snacks, and plenty of water—plus don’t forget the sunscreen and mozzie repellent!
In the afternoon, head down to the waterfront and Stokes wharf where you can explore the Royal Flying Doctors Service or zip around on a 00Seven Jetski and then enjoy a sunset dinner cruise on the Darwin Harbour Cruises (one of these activities included in package).
Day 2: Wednesday
Your day kicks off with a warm welcome at Dinah Beach Boat Ramp in Darwin around 7 AM (tide dependent), where you’ll meet your crew and go through a quick safety briefing and rundown of the day’s plan. Once introductions are done, you'll set off for your first fishing spot, enjoying a light breakfast along the way.
Throughout the day, lunch, snacks, and cool drinks will be provided, and you’re welcome to bring your own drinks (within reason). Depending on conditions, you’ll wrap up between 3:00 – 4:30 PM, and any fish you catch is yours to take home!
After a fantastic day on the water, maybe use your voucher for Charlie’s of Darwin where you can enjoy a delicious meal and share your angler stories!
Day 3: Thursday
After a leisurely morning, the day is yours to explore! Check out the coupons in your Travel Gateway Territory Kit and maybe head to Crocosaurus Cove for an up-close encounter with saltwater crocs, or hop on the Big Bus for a scenic tour around Darwin.
In the late afternoon, make your way to the Mindil Beach Sunset Markets (open 4:00–9:00 PM). These iconic markets are a must-visit, offering a lively mix of local crafts, street performers, and incredible international cuisine. Grab a delicious laksa or mango smoothie and browse the unique stalls for handmade souvenirs. As the sun sets over the Arafura Sea, find a spot on the beach and soak in one of Darwin’s most breathtaking sights—a fiery tropical sunset, best enjoyed with a cool drink in hand!
Day 4: Friday
Another day of fishing is ahead and today you will want to make sure you catch a few that you want to eat tonight. Once you are done with your day on the water, you can go back to the hotel and freshen up and either head into town or book in at Oka in Parap where the chef will whip up your fresh catch (5 course meal using your fresh caught fish is $80 per person!

Day 5: Saturday
Your fishing adventure has come to an end. Hopefully you don’t have to fly out too early - enjoy breakfast at the hotel and take advantage of the late checkout available.
