After you arrive in Darwin, take some time to settle in and prepare for the exciting days ahead. When it’s time for dinner, head over to Last Supper Pizzeria, where you can enjoy 2 delicious pizzas and 4 refreshing drinks with your voucher. It’s the perfect way to unwind and enjoy some great food after your journey.

After a relaxed meal, call it an early night to ensure you’re well-rested and ready to dive into all the adventures Darwin has to offer tomorrow!
Today is all about unwinding and discovering new adventures—perfect for kids and families! After breakfast, hop on the Big Bus for a fun and scenic ride around the city, a great way to spot landmarks and learn about Darwin’s history. Next, head to Crocosaurus Cove, where kids can come face-to-face with some of Australia’s most famous reptiles, from baby crocs to the massive saltwater crocodiles. There’s even a chance to feed the juveniles or hold a baby crocodile!
After the excitement, make your way to the waterfront, where you can enjoy a delicious lunch at The Precinct using your voucher. Then, dive into history at the Royal Flying Doctor Service and Bombing of Darwin Experience, where interactive exhibits and VR displays bring Australia’s wartime and aviation history to life in an engaging way for all ages.
As the sun sets, treat the family to fresh fish and chips by the water at Stokes Hill Wharf, watching the boats and maybe even spotting some fish or rays in the water below—a perfect, family-friendly way to wrap up your day in Darwin!
Prepare your day bag for an unforgettable Litchfield adventure. Your journey begins with a hotel pick-up no later than 7 am, heading first to Berry Springs Nature Reserve. This reserve offers diverse habitats and attractions, including clear geothermal waters that surface and flow over a small waterfall, perfect for a relaxing natural water massage.
Next, you'll visit Litchfield, renowned for its stunning waterfalls such as Florence Falls, Wangi Falls, and Tolmer Falls. The park is also home to unique wetlands, rugged stone country, ravines, gorges, and fascinating termite mounds created by both cathedral and magnetic termites.
On your way back to Darwin, you'll pass through Batchelor, a town rich with personal stories and historical significance. You'll learn about the impact of WWII, uranium mining, farming research, indigenous education, and the lives of pioneering and First Nation people. You'll return to Darwin between 4 and 6 pm.
Prepare for another early morning as the Croc Bus picks you up or meets you at a central location by 7:30 am. Your adventure includes a comfortable ride in their 24-seater bus equipped with air conditioning, opening windows, and plenty of cold water (remember to bring a refillable bottle). Enjoy learning from an experienced and knowledgeable driver, or relax and read fascinating articles about crocodiles in the Adelaide River from the NT News.
The second stop is the highlight of the day: an up-close encounter with crocodiles on a small yet safe boat cruising the Adelaide River. On the way back to Darwin, we'll visit Fogg Dam, a stunning wetland teeming with wildlife, including birds, insects, fish, buffalo, wallabies, and some of the world's largest reptiles.
You'll return to Darwin around lunchtime. Spend the afternoon relaxing by your hotel pool or take a leisurely stroll around Darwin city, exploring the shops and local sights.

In the late afternoon, head to the Mindil Beach Markets, where kids will love the lively atmosphere, with plenty of colorful stalls, street performers, and yummy treats like ice cream, fresh fruit, and fun snacks. They can try their hand at crafts and games, enjoy watching the live entertainment, or even meet some friendly local animals at the nearby petting zoo. As the sun sets over the beach, it's a magical experience for the whole family to enjoy together—making the Mindil Markets a perfect end to your day in Darwin!
Your time to explore the top end has come to an end as you will check out and head home.
Or you can add an additional 4 days and do a self drive adventure in Kakadu and Katherine.
