Suggested Itinerary
Day 1: Thursday
Kick back and relax on your morning Airnorth flight, indulging in complimentary refreshments in spacious seating and arrive 70 minutes later in Nhulunbuy. A seamless transfer from the airport to the boat club for your boat transfer, which will take approximately 45 minutes. Once on the island you will check into your beach front bungalow. Spend the day walking on the pristine beaches, go for a nature hike or just relax.
Visit the Seabreeze Restaurant, where you can enjoy a great selection of meals, refreshing drinks, and stunning ocean views. Savour fresh, locally inspired cuisine, and make the most of the retreat’s pool facilities amid the beauty of this eco-paradise.
Day 2: Friday
After breakfast, lounge by the pool or immerse yourself in the island's pristine white sand beaches and turquoise waters, perfect for a refreshing swim or simply soaking up the sun. Use of snorkelling equipment and kayaks are available to explore Bremer Island’s stunning coastline.
Before dinner, enjoy your grazing platter and pre dinner drink, compliments of Banubanu. Sit back while you take in the mesmerising sunset.
Day 3: Saturday
Another day of relaxation is ahead.
The island, Known as Dhambaliya in the Yolngu language, is steeped in history and has been home to the Yolngu people for tens of thousands of years. Its name pays homage to Matthew Flinders, who charted the coastline during his 1803 voyage.
You can learn the history of East Arnhem land/Maccassan/Matthews Flinders Way and Banubanu or discover the island’s natural wonders as you wander along scenic walking trails that showcase diverse flora and stunning coastal views.
Day 4: Sunday
Once you’ve had your last delicious breakfast and checked out, you’ll be transferred back to the Gove airport where you will catch your Airnorth flight back in the late afternoon.
