About East Arnhem Live Festival

East Arnhem Live is an annual music festival in the East Arnhem region, hosting events in Nhulunbuy, Yirrkala and Gunyaŋara in a celebration of Yolŋu (Indigenous) and Balanda (non-Indigenous) music and culture. East Arnhem Live brings incredible musicians from across Arnhem Land together with headline acts from the southern states to create two weekends of amazing events, in a truly unique Territory experience you won’t find anywhere else.

Headlining East Arnhem Live 2024 and this year’s Main Event is King Stingray - one of Arnhem Land's most popular and celebrated musical acts. The five-piece Yolŋu surf rock band have been ripping up Australian stages and airwaves apart since 2020, as one of the most exciting acts to burst out of the NT. This is your time to see them perform live on home turf! Plan your visit to see Arnhem Land’s best band playing Arnhem Land’s most awesome music festival.
