Just 60 km north of Katherine in you'll find Leliyn (Edith Falls), where you can camp for the night or just visit for the day. Enjoy a dip in the paperbark and pandanus fringed plunge pool, or take the 2.6 km return walk to the upper pools. If you feel like more of a hike, do the 9km return walk to Sweetwater Pool, a tranquil swimming hole which is the finishing point for the iconic Jatbula Trail.
Extend your Katherine adventure with a day trip to Mataranka, just 120km south of Katherine in Elsey National Park.
